No point pondering on what if’s. Just be glad we managed to turn the corner (although a lot of work still needs to be done and we have to show consistency). There is enough football left for us to claw our way back up the table #inches

Yup. In the 10 minutes before Xhaka got his Burnley red card we had actually played really well.
At least now we have ESR and Martinelli contributing alongside Saka, Tierney and co. So that’s the silver lining to that mess. Hard lessons.

What's happened in Scotland by the way? Rangers were relegated and down in the lower leagues following administration and selling all their players. I remember they came back up a couple seasons back but we're getting battered to somehow this season being 19 points clear. Wtf?

Stevie G is going to be a top, top manager in my opinion.

If I was him I would try and get a top 8 Premiership job by summer 2022.

Funny thing is based on current form I wouldn't swap Saka for Ziyech, ESR for Havertz, Werner for Martinelli, Chillwell for Tierney and I wouldn't swap Mendy for Leno.

Havertz for ESR might sound controversial but the former has been so, so bad since joining.

Neil Lennon happened.

To be honest credit to Gerrard. He took a few Pool youngsters that's not highly rated, some young players from lower leagues and Scottish leagues and built a team from scratch. Kamara the finnish boy who looked so bad and out of depth in his only app for us is now their key CM. And his team is actually so competitive he has had many good results against good teams in Europa, something Celtic never had over the past few years despite their dominance

It's funny that Avram Grant will forever be topping that list. Many managers have been fired long before Lampard with a better PPG.

It's crazy that they've had 7 managers who've lasted less than a season, and a further 3 who've lasted less than 2. Weird club.

They're not a well run club and yet they've still been able to win a fair number of trophies. Annoying.

I think they're unfortunately a very well-run club, they just do things their own way and aren't that reliant on the manager role.

There’s Rodrigo de Paul, the Udinese mid a couple of us have wishlisted a few times. He’s Argentine, so would be less married to Serie A than natives. Definitely worth a look

I didn't realise so much of Mount's chance creation came from corners. I might be overrating him a bit. I haven't watched Chelsea much this season to be fair. His role has changed too compared to last year, hasn't it?
