Nonsense. Willian has been an inconsistent and largely blunt attacker during his 7 years at Chelsea. He has an eye watering average of 5 league goals a season (even if his best scoring season was last year) and has been one of Chelsea's weakest attackers during his time there. I wouldn't have bought that cunt in his prime, let alone after a short period of form.
Silva on the other hand is the best defender of his generation. Signing veterans like him, Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo will always provide value because they are generational talents.
Signing scumbags like Luiz and Willian who were dodge as fuck in their primes were always going to be shit in their decline.
I liked Silva a lot but he's 36 years old ffs, that's long past his prime even last year he had a couple of notable highs but his overall level wasn't up there. And that's ignoring the numerous muscle injuries which he's had over his career.
Ask Chelsea fans how their veteran signings Crespo Sheva etc worked out for them in the past. Also Willian was never world class with inconsistent end product but there's a reason he was there for seven years in the first place but seeing how you get all emotional about these cunts and scumbags I'm not wasting any time on this discussion.
