He'd probably look shit if he came here. Willian was class for Brazil and Chelsea some seven months ago and now is literally unable to do anything right chances are it's confidence related. That and our Mourinho in charge seems hellbent on playing him into form.

Willian was class for Chelsea 7 months ago because he was playing for a new contract. Ozil was class for us as well in the months leading up to his contract extension.

Özil was ok in the months leading up to his extension not much more. His form also didn't drop because of the contract if you wanted to pick any particular reason it'd be because of the WC mess and the racist pieces of shit running the DFB. Willian was very good for both Chelsea and Brazil for a prolonged time. I don't think you understand how professional athletes at this level work if you think they stop giving a fuck when they get a new contract, there are very few Winston Bogardes out there you don't get to the top any longer by half arsing it.

People believe in too much weird crap. This idea that athletes give up after signing contracts is wholly based on exceptions. Around 25% of footballers are signing contracts every year. You don’t see a quarter of all squads just packing it in annually

Exactly. His form had picked up slightly but he was still not the Ozil we knew 2 years earlier. Willian and Auba are both struggling after getting new contracts but if the contract logic worked then Laca, Xhaka, etc would be playing great trying to secure new deals. The reality is most of our team is suffering, especially the attack.

Ozil certainly given up though. That's not up for debates. He is happy to not play and get paid.

So you think it a coincidence that all 3 of Ozil, Willian and Auba have gone to shit after getting big contracts? What do they all have in common? It’s their last respective big pay cheques! Where is the motivation coming from?

Nonsense. Willian has been an inconsistent and largely blunt attacker during his 7 years at Chelsea. He has an eye watering average of 5 league goals a season (even if his best scoring season was last year) and has been one of Chelsea's weakest attackers during his time there. I wouldn't have bought that cunt in his prime, let alone after a short period of form.

Silva on the other hand is the best defender of his generation. Signing veterans like him, Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo will always provide value because they are generational talents.

Signing scumbags like Luiz and Willian who were dodge as fuck in their primes were always going to be shit in their decline.
