Makes you wonder in what manner the restructuring is being done. If it was going to be positive they'd have announced it as such. Except...how much does this save? Even over a 5 year period? Not much.
We could flog a few players from the academy and permanently be a couple of players short (hey, we've done it before) and we'd see the same financial impact. The monetary argument just doesn't make sense to me.
And some of those roles are "historic" so it's hard to imagine what the thinking is. Sacking the scout responsible for Scottish football? I'm willing to bet that role has existed since the 80s if not longer.
