Don't know about his talent. I used to feel like he was a great defensive coach only to realize later that his teams defended poorly when the individuals at the back weren't top defenders. He is nothing special. He is a good manager who can win with a superior team while playing eye bleeding football. He has never in his career stayed long enough at a club to even show that he can contribute to transitioning teams, completely depending on money. His has achieved a lot, can't argue with his achievements, but his abrasive personality aside, there are just so many reasons to not want him at the club you love. I hope he ends Tottenham.

Spurs are really going all in on the jose trophy bounce. If they win nothing again this season, they have a massive mess on their hands

I'm not surprised at all, he looks sounds and acts like a little bitch in his interviews why would he be any different with his players. I watched the first ep last night. I was amazed he told Dele Alli, several times, that he's lazy and trains like shit, in front of all the other players, and then proceeded to pick him anyway for his first lineup.

His speech to Kane was hilarious, especially in hindsight. I'm going to make you explode 😆

Kane unfortunately comes across as a fairly simple, decent fellow. The way he looks totally out of his depth giving those prematch team speeches was unexpectedly disarming 😆

They should’ve cashed in when Pochettino was producing a superhuman effort to make Spurs look like an incredible team and the silly journalists thought every player was worth £100m. Same journalists are doing that with Liverpool right now because people don’t understand normalized data. Dele Alli ain’t worth shit. He’s scored a couple of pretty goals but that doesn’t make him the prince that was promised

Alli is a bit like James, if you build around him you'll get a lot back. However like James he's not at the level that top teams are going to do that with him.

Yeah I think James is more of a lift to the team too. Alli is more someone you could turn into a bit of a goal machine if you were a midtable team built around him.

I think Alli is actually quite special in terms of technical ability compared to the rest of the english players. But that's that really.
