yup. Both him and Saka need to improve their finishing but the other aspects of their game are already great.

If we are going to play 4231 then I want our CAM to be a recognised goal threat like Buendia, rather than being just a playmaker/facilitator.

I agree with this. Dunno why people aren't rating Smith-Rowe anymore but honestly his technique, ball manipulation and ability to move into space and in tight areas is reminiscent of the old school AW AMs. Wenger would have loved him.

Lol, for sure, Saka is our best player but ESR is up there. No need to get defensive bro, wasn't talking about you or most people in fact.

But there have been more and more talks by people downplaying his ability saying he has no end product or that he should be shifted wide or benched etc. It's a minority for now but these thoughts are growing.

I honestly don’t think he's played enough out wide to say that he's less effective there and I don't think being "shifted out wide" is necessarily a negative. Imo one of his best performances is against Leeds out wide.

To me he's a quality player that'll give you performances regardless of where you put him. Buy his movement and ability to play in tight spaces means he's being wasted a bit out wide whereas through the centre he's more influential on the game. I just want to maximise his impact on our game and feel that's through the middle. More so that what, for example, Odegaard gives us.
