It's mental how much football costs when you think about it. Sky Sports and BT Sport would cost you roughly £55 a month. That's about the same as Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, Apple TV and non sports Sky put together. That's ignoring the cost of going to games too.

Thought about doing the same but half the time I'm on my way somewhere and just watch a stream on my phone. 90% of the time you find a FHD stream in ten seconds anyway

Streams are usually great but I do think paid piracy is worth it just for avoiding the hassle of changing streams if one is bad.

I just find it easier to sit down at TV and switch on SKy, BT, Bein, etc plus I get the rest of the stations for other TV stuff included.

With Sabitzer out of contract next summer and there being seemingly very little interest in him at the moment, I feel like he would a very attainable player in a position we need to improve and for a fair sum.

Him and Partey as a pair would be great I feel, they have a complementary set of skills.

Agreed, and Sabitzer brings leadership and goal threat whilst not blocking the likes of ESR & Co unlike Maddison perhaps, let alone that we could likely sign all of Sabitzer, Koopmeiners and Aouar for that price.

One name I'm surprised I haven't seen on any Wish List here is Kalvin Phillips.
I understand he'd be more expensive than Maddison (even before his England call up?), but for mind he seems to have everything Arteta wants in his midfield as partner to Partey in any midfield shape.

Koopmeiners as the cost effective alternative?

I didn't see much of him at the euros but he was terrible in the little I did see. Couldn't read the game at all round him. You could see why he is where he is despite having a wonderful strike. I'd rather keep Willock has has the goal threat albeit not from distance in the same way. But he's more dynamic.

Yeah I'd agree with that. Sabitzer wasn't one that really impressed me. Klaus put it best when he called him a poor man's Joe Willock 😆

At a top four club in four out of the last five seasons, 2nd place in Germany last season, CL semi finalist two years ago?

Sabitzer was shit in the Euros but as an overall midfielder he's levels above Willock, in terms of intelligence, awareness and movement in the middle third where a CM spends most of his time (if they're not English at least) they might as well be playing different sports.

The elephant in the room is if we let Willock goi out on loan, where do the goals come from in midfield - not from any of the CMs we are linked to as yet including both Locatelli or Maddison.

Where do they come from in general? It was our biggest weakness last season and we haven't addressed it at all. Arteta better start figuring out a way to get the best of Auba this season because if he's anything like last season we are fucked.

Big responsibility on Pepe and Auba this season, and Saka and Smith-Rowe need to chip in more too. I think if we can actually have those four on the pitch at the same time then good things will happen, though.

I think so too. Not convinced we'll see Auba get back into full flow under Arteta though, hope I'm wrong.

Three signings. Would be interesting to see Arteta go with a CB-DM 'box' and let the fullbacks fly forward with freedom. Tierney has shown himself well worth it, although Bellerin less so. P.S. I could compromise on Tielemans for Silva from City. Get it done, Kroenke.

Lokonga, White and Tavares done. AM, CM, RB, GK and CF still needed. Assuming we get Abraham on loan (I feel we would get that done) and sign a GK (anyone but Ramsdale), you can only pick one more signing which would be more important for us?

Maddison or Locatelli?
