Buendia is a good alternative, but Grealish is proven in the top flight and thrives in the big games. I feel like that's worth a sensible premium.

I have to say if Odegaard is going to cost us £50m odd then I'd love it if we could add another £10-15m or so to get Grealish instead. We desperately need someone to speed up our game and I think he's compliment the kids really well.

In Goon's scenario where the price of Grealish is 60-65m, that means 10-15m for Nelson. Not sure how that's awful.

I think we should get BIG transfer targets vs speculative for this coming season. Here is why. We will play 10-12 fewer games than usual due to no Europe. That means we do not need depth to manage the season. We will often have 1 week between games. What really matters is peak quality. If we can add (eg) Grealish and Camavinga to our core, we are more likely to win each game we play. Build the best possible starting 11. We can afford to do this and still sell 6-7 players given the lighter schedule. And then fill out with affordable fullbacks and goalie.

Rumours we’re getting Aouar for 30m

He’s got good numbers. Has weirdly been getting sat down cos wasn’t fitting with their midfield. That said, their best player right now is Guimaraes, but I would happily take Aouar with Camavinga. Saliba coming too. Ligue 1 invasion.

Strong!! With ESR / Pépé, I think we buy only one of Grealish / Buendia. Either would be great. I think Grealish just wins you games and takes pressure off Saka.

We can’t tit about. Why not go for both. We have enough resource and opportunities to raise funds whilst correcting the many previous wrongs.

Grealish would be a Bergkamp or Ozil level signing

Buendia is a Nasri, Rosicky type addition.

I'd rather just give Smith Rowe the 3rd midfielder/Number 10 role. Although Buendia does look a proper player.

Leno will go, I think. He has been a big hindrance to our build-up play this season.

Saliba will be involved, and surely won't find it too hard to get past Holding?

Camavinga would be a fantastic investment, but I'm not sure how ready ge is to get kicked around in Premier League midfields?

How good exactly is Emerson? He looks superb in Youtube comps!

Wotcha tricks - how’s things?

Don’t know Emerson that well but he looks physical with an idea of what to do.

Wouldn’t mind Leno going. Has a lot of highs but I think he’s a bit weak mentally
