Thuram and Marcos Llorente would be my pick for January. Both should be able to slot in easier than someone like Mudryk or Danilo, both (to my mind) are genuine options and the right age bracket for us, and both out of contract soon and hence we should be able to get them at a sensible fee (plus a large sign-on bonus if that's what it takes).
