Hype train has left the station for this kid. If half the stories are true then this kid is the real deal. Wonder if he might get some EL game time.

He will still be eligible for England U21s by the time Odegaard is 30.

I watch his highlights reel, one particular pass was incredible outside of the foot. The vision and execution, haven't seen it from any 15 year old before.

Funny.

Except (a) the fanbase is more supportive this year then it has been the previous two years and (b) he's unlikely to be in contention for regular minutes in meaningful fixtures.

You guys forgetting about Runarsson deleting his twitter account after our fans abused him so much after only one game?

I don't think we have an exceptionally abusive fanbase. I think we've got one of the dumber ones, though. Most of the turds who ran Alex into the ground were still pining over that dunce Martinez and decided to take a break from writing the clubs obituary to call Runarsson every name under the sun.

The argument to send him to Marseille of all places to 'protect' him was still stilly.

Fair enough about Runarsson but to be honest I find it difficult to have sympathy for him when he used to give Wenger abuse on social media himself. Finding if even more difficult to see what's bad about deleting your twitter account.

Our online fan base is big which means social media abuse is sadly inevitable. I worry about guys like Gabriel who seems to pay a lot of attention to it. He’s indirectly responded to stuff a few times now.

Twitters insane. You can find dozens of people to back up basically any ridiculous football opinion you want. I'm sure you could go on and find groups telling you Saka shouldn't be starting for us with ease for example. Best ignored all round.
