the main downside of not being in Europe is the lack of exposure guys like martinelli and balogun get. we only found out how good saka was because of the Europa league games he was given, for example

Lol at Balogun. Kid clearly feels he’s outgrown the u23 level. Finds it hard to celebrate goals or assists at that level.

Yet he isn’t good enough yet for the first team. Has to go on loan in January before he loses motivation and to get him playing regular football at a higher level.

Balogun desperately needs a loan. He’s learning nothing with the U-23’s.

We gave him a start where our entire team struggled at Brentford and then he didn't have any other chances with the first team. Really unlucky

Balogun's 97th minute equalizer. That's a sexy finish.

He loves rolling defenders but it hasn't worked for him whenever he's tried it on the PL. Needs to go out on loan and get used to the physicality of senior football.

Unless I'm mistaken that's 2 assist and one goal from Hutchinson too, after coming on as a sub in his first game back from injury. That lad is going to be worth £100 million at some point in the future.

U23s top of the league after another late Balogun winner. 2-0 up after what sounds like a quality Hutchinson goal, then we went down to 10 men and conceded two before Balo scored in the 89th min.

Hope we have a proper plan for some of these kids.

Very disappointing result yesterday as we lost the top spot with a 3-5 loss against Derby County.

Balogun was again very good as he grabbed a hat trick. Hutchinson was also good.

Patino, Taylor-Hart and Salah had horrible games. Just completely dominated physically and very wasteful on the ball.

Less said about our defending the better. Derby had scored 5 well before 60 mins on the clock.
