I hope Arteta gives Nketiah a go on the left. I'd like to see a front three of Nketiah-Auba-Saka at some point this season.

If we see that front three I'd much rather play Nketiah up front and Auba on the left. Eddie's movement in the box is his biggest asset, he does little but ineffective pressing from wide while Auba can be a genuine threat cutting in.

Seen that Wheatley has been saying that Patino is going to be promoted into the 1st team squad off the back of his performances so far this year. Sounds like the Carabao Cup tie will be his first opportunity..

Why? Nketiah isn’t very good at anything except poaching. And we don’t create the sort of chances in the box a poacher thrives on.

He has good pace and some decent close control aspects. If I'm not mistaken we have played him there before under Emery, with him and Auba switching in-game.

Having said that this is no where near high on my list of hopes. Just reintegrate Martinelli into rotation, his stardom is waiting to explode. Its somewhat understandable how some have gone off with him, but I still think there is a potential get out of mediocrity card for the club in him.

Eddie is a good dribbler. He made things happen from that left wing in preseason and would provbably have been nailed on to start the season for us if he hadn't been injured, especially when Laca and Auba were out.

I thought the same in preseason, but at the same time I don’t think he's ever shown anything like that so not sure how much to make of it.

I've been impressed with him this season. Starting to really have some presence, which tbf should naturally come with age and experience. He's worth more than Brewster surely, with a longer contract that is.

He’s just not a rounded enough player. Strikers of that size need to have magic in their boots to have a good career at the top.

Balogun is better though I have my doubts about his athleticism and presence

This is a controversial opinion I suppose, but I think Balogun is a clearly inferior talent with a career trajectory that is consistently behind Eddie's at the same age regardless of when you look at it. I don't think what they end up achieving on the pitch will be comparable. Eddie's a tier above both Balogun and John-Jules, who both seem to be in the Brewster bracket. I agree it's still up in the air whether Nketiah will ever be good enough for Arsenal, but I feel that the moment he gets physical enough to have more presence he'll be a player we'll regret very much that we lost.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

Funny, I thought Folarin is supposedly quite powerful and pacey.

Eddie looks good this season, and he's always been a decent dribbler to be fair.

Patino running things again, this kid definitely looks special. Really hope to see him midweek.

Biereth looks a really good pick up too. Decent hold up play, good movement and decent athleticism too. Looks to have much more to him than Moller.

Biereth gets his hattrick from the rebound after one of our guys - Olayinka I think - decides to completely ignore him in acres of space in the box to try and score alone.
