I don't think he meant anything by it Sicario, he was just genuinely asking. I have never watched Balogun play either, so if someone has watched many of his matches and says that he's great then I'm glad.

Balogun has a lot of social media hype based off clips of his goals etc. Don't really hear much about him in the same way you heard about Azeez, Patino or even someone like Zelalem. I liked what I saw of him in his little cameo though, really good movement, good positioning and decent hold up play. If we can get him to sign a deal it might be worth loaning him out for six months to really see what he can do.

Youth matches are not broadcast are they?

Iwobi made 100 appearances for the Arsenal senior team and I hardly miss am Arsenal game.

I follow Deluded gooner on youtube for youth team updates.

Seems like he is fairly level headed in his assessment of our prospects and watched them for years.

Well he has a fight on his hands, but did himself a lot of good with the Dundalk match.

Another loss for the reserves as we lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool.

Saliba played 75+ minutes so it is very likely that he is not going to be part of the squad on Sunday.

Smith-rowe was injured ( :hmm: ) so was not involved in the game at all.

Still winless this season with 2 points from first seven matches.

Easy to call for Bould's head with an army of U23's out on loan (especially all our center backs) but he and Mertesacker have to take part of the blame.

Our u23 squad is incredibly strong this year. God knows why the results are so bad

You're confusing talented with strong. Guys like Azeez and Cottrell are still inbetweeny ones who are a little too good for the U18 but haven't established themselves in the U23 yet. It's too early for them to take on players that are 2-3 years older. Even Balogun is doing his first full U23 season.

What I mean is Willock, Nelson, Saliba, ESR, Cedric has played and will play u23 football regularly.

Yeah, but they aren't in the U23 team most weeks. Nelson, Willock and Cedric have played one U23 game in the last 12 months, and it was mostly because they needed to get fit for selection in the first team. And Smith-Rowe is always injured so he's a no-go too.

From what I read, the style of football has not been great (even with most of the eligible players available) since Bould came back.

On other hand, the team was playing good football under Freddie who was also operating under similar constraints.
