I'm not one to get irrationally pessimistic about these things and I do think the 'I can't see us beating Chelsea' comments are ludicrous when you actually look at their team. But I can't get visions of Giroud scoring against us in Baku out of my head.

I agree with Rohit in so far as Arsenal actually looking like unlocking Chelsea skillfully this season. Even though last three encounters we lost at Baku, at Emirates and drew at the Stamford Bridge. Now since the restart, things could play out much differently than recent precedent. Dropping Kante was the right call, sucks they did that. James seems a better fullback. Yes I am a little anxious about Girioud; his near post runs can't be 100% defended no matter what quality of defender. But its more so Pulisic for me. Could do a lot of damage.

I'm starting to feel good about this one. Listened to a great interview with Wrighty on the ArseBlog. The interviews with ex-players like Wright and Dixon shed a lot of light on the game. I think we are going to take the game to them and really impress. 1 goal win. Ceballos MOTM.

I voted for us to win it as we have much more riding on the result than just silverware or UEL next season - the alternative is far too dramatic to contemplate.

Two teams with dodgy defences. Chelsky are even worse than us on set pieces I reckon. It's all about starving their forward line while utilising our CB passing to break through lines. Unlike Citeh their centre is more porous so I wonder what approach Arty will use.

I feel more nervous because this is the most dire season ever and its important for Arteta to get his chance to rebuild. Lose this and we have no europe and even lesser cash.

We need another big performance from him. That was probably an even more complete performance than Per's final.
