What rumors? Who have we conned?

This. Ridiculous suggestion. Saka is no backup.
That he's backup leftback doesn't mean that will be his primary position. Auba is our left winger, but I'd also have him as a backup striker.

Exactly 😆
Why would he have to sit on the bench to be a backup option at left back? What is this logic?
Because When one uses the word back up in relation to a squad you are usually talking about a player who plays the same position as the first choice.
Which Saka can obviously do. So again, why would that prevent him from being first choice elsewhere in the team?
Okay.
Where is Saka starting anyway?
Saka will most likely be our back-up winger.
Just because he can play left-back in a crisis, doesn't mean that you should make him the back-up for multiple positions. Recipe for disaster.
Yeah Klaus. Because "okay" obviously.
Will probably be shifted around. We always have some player either injured or in need of a rest and Saka is very versatile.

If he was our undisputed starting winger I'd agree, but back-up winger and backup LB probably won't mean more games than for a starting player so not sure why it's too much.Â
I think he will rotate a lot with Pepe actually.
As for Kola leaving, it's fine if AMN is staying because Cedric can play LB too, albeit a shit one.
AMN looks like a different player these days. less looking like he's just going through the motions.
Brother, for too long we have watched other teams out run and outwork is. It’s so good to have watched these games against Pool, Chelsea end City and had our guys been the ones who seemed hungrier and more determined. And leaner. We look a serious outfit now. And AMN is a big part of that transformation. Club Med has closed its doors
kolasinac apparantly demanding to be made Shalke captain during his loan
Gazidis Wenger special that one
Must be mixing his coke with baby powder.

And Kolasinac, who all of a sudden is rumoured to be going to Roma. What are the odds we'll start the season with Tierney on the left, AMN on the right, and then have Cedric and Saka as backups?

Also interesting the talk changed direction after Sanllehi departed.
Talks of a new (improved) contract for AMN. Get the feeling he won't be leaving, especially if we shift Kola

Didn't the AMN to Wolves rumours also surface after Sanllehi's departure? Don't think there's anything in this.Â

I thought they had started about the same week but before his departure, same with Martinez being 'linked' to named clubs rather than just the general noise about potentially departing.Â
