He's always been in the iwobi bracket for me. i never quite rated him as a starter, but it stings to lose an academy kid

Potentially 50m+ from those two though show how valuable the academy is, even for players who don’t quite make it.

We’d have to do the hard work of scouting. Look at AMN’s output. It’s not incredible. But having watched him, many of us think he could be really good. So we’d need to get someone similar. Or we take the 30+20 from him and Bellerin if he goes and get an even better player.

If we do get rid of AMN and Bellerin them Atal would be a good long term RB to get.

One of the reasons Leicester struggled post lockdown was Perreira’s injury. It’s a ligament injury so need to know the risks but he’s been one of the strongest right backs in the league last two seasons. Good all rounder.

It could well be the covid effect, but 20 mil defo feels like not enough.

Much happier than if we spent the same amount (never mind an additional £30 million) on Ben Chilwell.

There’s definitely a covid effect. The way I think you’ll see it is a few high end transfers will happen at high cost because certain clubs are unburdened. Lower down, you’ll see fewer transactions and at lower cost. Clubs will be busy trying to figure out how to shave costs.

The big opportunity will be loan deals of high wage players. So if we really want an Ousmane Dembele on a loan and buy, we can do it, if we can also shift costs. It’s a time to be wily.

How much we sign Tierney for? 25 mill? If that was the case then i can live with 20 for AMN, especially if he wants out.

Expecting Wolves to pay 30+ for a backup fullback/utility is laughable.

I get the feeling we'd be happy to sell either Hector or Ainsley, but not both. The Bellerin rumour could be a way of putting some pressure on Wolves.

Could possibly sell both I guess and get in a new RB - Max Aarons has impressed some people to put forward a name with no links - but I think the Bellerin stuff is a bit of a smokescreen.

Could sell both, sign someone like Max Aarons and still have £25m to spare. An improvement to the team and money left over. Saying that Aarons probably still needs to improve but for me has more potential than either Bellerin or AMN in that position. Other options like Youcef Atal as well. Seen little of him but looks an impressive player.

Unlikely to happen though.

Aarons doesn't look great to me, in fact I think both Hector and AMN are better.

I think we're giving ourselves too much to do if we sell both and I personally don't think we'll do it. If we did go in that direction I hope we have someone good and easily attainable in mind to come in.

He looked a superb talent to me whenever I watched them, then again I don't think I saw a Norwich match from about Nov/Dec onwards.

Height, body shape or mentality? Max Aarons and Hector are the same height - 178cm or 5'10". Both are 1cm taller than Ainsley.

Anyway, physical stats don't mean much for overall performance, but if you think Aarons is much smaller than our right backs, he's not. Cedric is though - 172cm or 5'7 and 3/4.
