I hate Liverpool. They do everything well.
They really do, proper club. No ideea who is he director there? Do they have one? But every single thing they do is spot on. Lots to learn from them.
This whole period of great transfer business has happened under Michael Edwards. He’s the one who has married the right scouting, data and working hand-in-hand with Klopp.
In the last 4 years Liverpool and Arsenal both spent about £110m on defenders. Except one club spent £70m on the best defender in the world and the rest went into gambles. The other club decided to keep spending £10m at a time until they bought Saliba and Gabriel and those are still unknown. What is the better use of funds?
