That is his release clause.

Sevilla are in a decent shape financially and the player is not forcing a move, so haggling for a price is out of question.

So if City want to get him, they either trigger the release clause or move on to other targets.

If Jovic and his agent had any sense, they would get out of Madrid pronto or be prepared to rot on bench for next season.

Madrid really need a striker. Odegaard and Vinicius looked good but they really need goals in there. This should’ve been the summer they pulled a superstar striker signing like Martinez or Mbappé, giving us the chance to try rescue Jovic. Without a big replacement, I can’t see Jovic going despite Zidane’s pleas.

They paid double what they should’ve for Hazard. These chelsea transfer fees are smelly. Just annoying while we get offered loans for all our dregs

IF we end up getting all 3 of Partey, Aouar AND Jovic it would be dancing in the streets time. Hell I'd be happy to wait until Jan if it meant we'd get Jovic. We'd have a new spine that we could build from that is both quality and fit for purpose.

Seems it would be a loan if they let Jovic go. I have some reservations about Jovic, but wouldn't be against having him here. I see Spurs and City fans clamoring for him as well.

Don't want another Madrid player on loan. Loan plus obligation would ideal as it moves the deal to next summer and allows us to focus this years pot on Aouar and Partey.

Sounds like bs, although sevilla could just be hedging for the maximum payday. Turning down 60m for a cb in the current climate is a ballsy move
