Market is completely different after co-vid and sane has 1 year left on his deal.

Last year city wanted 100m euros reportedly.

Sane also suffered an ACL injury in-between though, I bet that knocked off some million from the price tag too.

Bellingham to bvb confirmed

Bundesliga has become the landing place for talented young english players

I wonder if it's an indication that German talent production is starting to drop off, or if it just means that the German kids are getting expensive. Either way England must be a great place to fish for players. The Premier League clubs are too rich to bother with their own domestic talent.

Dortmund have the track record so young players want to go there.

And they are not afraid to splash decent money for 5x future returns etc. Very easy for them to keep rebuilding in this cycle

I am not sure if either case is true wrt German Youngsters.

I think clubs like Dortmund are more marketable for English kids because they can guarantee you minutes in a top European league  added with the chance of showcasing your talents in a European competition which the top English clubs can not.

It feels like a bit of both. On the one hand, there’s definitely the issue of economics, with the Premier League hoovering up top players from around Europe, creating a vacuum for youth to thrive elsewhere. And places like Dortmund capitalize. But hot new talent does feel slimmer in Germany than say England, France and Italy. There’s guys like Havertz and Geiger but not an extensive list that I’m aware of.

[Fabrizio Romano] Napoli in advanced talks with Osimhen - ready to sign him soon if Osimhen will accept.

I think we were linked with both.

Benfica had reportedly offered Pochettino 5m Euros per year to take the Benfica manager job now with the goal of saving Benfica's title hopes. He is reportedly pleased with the offer but only wants to manage the team starting next season.

Leon Bailey: Bayer Leverkusen star keen on Premier League move this summer

He was well liked on this forum.

Messi has halted his contract renewal with Barça. He wants to end this season, play the next season and leave. He is tired, and wants to leave the club in 2021. [CadenaSER]

I think we should go for him, just imagine him and Cedric running that right wing.

Hakimi to Inter. Great signing for them.

English kids are also more marketable. Even if one turned out average you could still sell him back to a cash rich sucker in the PL for 2 or 3 times what you paid.

105m euros for Gabriel and Osimhen.

What.

This is also the club that shelled out €90m for Higuain. I expect to hear some Koulibaly news.

Appreciated, Homesteak.

Napoli got 90m for Higuain they didn't pay it for him.

Correct

If I remember it was in the £35 million range they paid for him ahead of us.

I really wantEd Magalhaes to come here, if he does well Napoli will be asking for over £100 million for him 😆

You’re right, Jones. Blonde moment. It was Real - Napoli - Juventus. Juventus are the tits with the extraordinary transfer fee.

Can see both their values doubling in 2 years time. Dead cert to be quality players

Liverpool close to signing thiago. Top class player, but I'm not sure how much he moves the needle for them. Definitely gives them a different dimension in midfield

Nah it’s a really good signing for them, they need more creativity in midfield.

Yup, shame that he's going there. Wish City took him as a Silva replacement instead.

Really? That is a damn shame. He's one of the very best midfielders in the game.

He's an incredible player. He's lost some time because of injury but he's phenomenal. My Liverpool mates are delighted
