Personally think he's average. Happy that Tottenham are now signing a player of this profile. He might fit in to Mourinho's style of football but they aren't really improving much with this signing.

What they do is also highly disruptive to league campaigns. They’ve mastered this players ventures business but it’s incompatible with being able to win titles. They understand where they fit in the football world and have done extremely well

There were some rumours around us trying to get Luis Campos around the time we got Edu. I was quite hopeful of getting him (or Rangnick) at the time on board.

Looks like Liverpool are going to have another low-key transfer window for the second summer in a row.

The players heavily targeted are Norwich left back Jamal Lewis (as a cover for Robertson), Watford winger Ismaila Sarr (as replacement for Shaqiri who is almost certain to leave) and Brighton centerback Ben White (who apparently was very impressive on-loan at Leeds in their promotion campaign).

They seem to be unwilling to meet Thiago's wage demands and are likely to not pursue him.

One thing that sort of sticks out to me is that Ikone has better close control than Pepe and more acceleration.

I think all this pricing is mad especially given the fact that English players have actually started increasing in supply again. It’s not like 10 years ago when they were rare as hen’s teeth. None of these players are worth that much. He’s worth relatively less than Rice and Grealish though.

Rice got an English start because he could have played for Ireland - literally no other reason. AMN is a better, more experienced player.
