I think this would signal the end for Torreira more than Xhaka. Partey is the sort of player that would make all his midfield partners look better.

I see the Ballbag has had his say, I think he is ok for Spanish football ? Still don't think this is gonna happen but so much smoke around it. Hard to not get a little excited.

I think it displaces both tbh, but moreso xhaka. Partey would become our primary distributor and tempo setter in place of him

Can see him going to a CL club. If I was him I'd hold out for a bayern/ liverpool level move. He'd start for liverpool. If he was at hull I could maybe see us convincing him of a quick move. But hes at a really good CL club already, AM arent as good as they were but they still knocked liverpool out and went into the last 8.

We should give it go but we probably have a 5% chance of getting this over the line. I'd imagine we're selling torreira to part fund it.

Only way I see any transfers of this ilk for us are primarily via a player swap. In this case possibly seeing Laca going the other way.
