Goes back to what I said before. We need to recruit on talent vs attitude matrix going forward. He seems to lack discipline and professionalism more than anything. I hope he picks it up at some point. Maybe he should call Bendtner to find out what happens to talented but ill-disciplined youth

What Claude says about professionalism is spot on - AMN’s casual attitude on the pitch is a reflection of that. He just doesn’t seem serious to me. When they yanked him off for being on the pitch with a necklace on, I gave up on the guy. Talent is nothing if you don’t apply yourself properly.

It will be a shame if because of attitude he doesn't make it here, but similarly he won't make it elsewhere if he continues like this.

Because in many matches we have seen that he can be a top RB. He was excellent in all 3 matches he played against United for example.

Don't think we disagree, but I think you're talking about principle using ideal examples where I'm trying to be empirical. Obviously some players will be dissatisfied. That includes some who fans will admire and managers will want to put on the field even though they're unruly. Some perform better in their less preferred positions because they want to be moved. And so on. Managerial authority flows from the expectation of success and longevity, and optimising the selection is the luxury of a deep squad. City remain far beyond us on both counts for now.
