What do people actually mean when they say this? The 10 % who actually would walk up to them aren't less assholes than the 90 % that you're referring to.

I'm just saying that keyboards give you a false sense of bravado, you wanker.
And it shouldn't give you any more sense of bravado if you were the type of guy who would walk up to random people and tell them vile stuff.

Yes. I’m just saying for most people, the internet is a consequence free zone. You don’t need to deal with the immediacy of people’s emotions and reactions. You just say something rude and inconsiderate from your basement.
their comments shouldn't be enabled period whether playing good or bad. the fans don't love you like that. you provide them with enjoyment and get paid a lot of money. when you start thinking these strangers give a shit about your well being you're gonna get yourself caught up emotionally. they "love" you as long as you're useful.
This guy is simply not good enough.
I rather start an old and busted Laca over him.
Very painful to watch. What does it take to be an Arsenal player in 2020?
Looks like a really poor player with no real strengths.
Told you he was garbo
He's not good enough. Such a weak shooter as well which has surprised me. Defoe had a rocket shot.
He's not good enough, we should get decent money for him so need to sell next summer.

This
Not good enough for Arsenal. Not his fault. Sell and move on.
He has a year left on his deal so its a choice of a new contract or sell him this summer. I'm definitely siding with the latter. He still has potential but I don't think he's good enough to get the games he needs to reach that potential here.
unless we ruin his value by constantly playing him. we talk about how much liverpool gets for their young players who don't even play for them. but the key is that they aren't playing for them and being slated all over twitter by their fans. you're not signing off on a big transfer for a young player when everyone is calling him trash. last summer you may have gotten 40m combined for nketiah and AMN. this summer it'll be more like 20m.
Championship player.

Yeah because PL clubs do their scouting on twitter.

the more he's seen the more it's clear to anyone with eyes that he doesn't have it for the top level. but when it's not clear they can fall back on "we feel he has great potential, but just hasn't been able to break into a great side just yet."
Everyones seen enough of him to know his level. A few more games wont matter. He's still England U21s top ever scorer.
Solanke and Brewster were not unseen. The former had a full season out on loan and then played 21 games for Liverpool The latter went out on loan in the Championship and score a few goals.
That's what Eddie needs to build his value.
