Claudius I think this is exactly right, it's not an accident that Eddie gets these chances. And it's that instinct, the ability to sniff out a chance that is leading to comparisons with Ian Wright. Eduardo, I think, had more in common with Wrighty in terms of his skill in finishing, even if we only saw it briefly, but Eddie's got a nose for goal which can't be taught. And that nose will win us several games like last night's.
The club must be feeling pretty pleased with themselves, having managed to get him to sign a new contract - and you would think now, he's probably very happy he decided to stay.
