Only player that get's his weight in goals there is Saka who reached double figures after penalties.

Jesus isn't gonna add a lot there but he's definitely an upgrade on Nketiah.

Ideally it should be Jesus and another not Jesus and a man who scored in 2, 2 and 3 league games in the last 3 seasons.

(Vieira will take a while to adapt let alone get near his Portuguese league numbers)

Martinelli has already reached double figures in the past if we're going by history.

His highest league tally is 6.

I'm not talking about carling cup hauls here.

Ironically it's his support of guys like Eddie that makes me think maybe Arteta isn't a complete waste of time. He didn't have the guts to back Eddie over Lacazette even though Laca was years past a rather pathetic peak, which makes me think he'll never be a great or even good manager; all of his core instincts are wrong when it comes down to it. But he at least recognises the talent, in contrast to most of our ungrateful fanbase.

I flip flop on Nketiah, which probably isn’t a good sign. He was electric when he first started getting minutes. He’s erratic though.

Saw a highlight reel of his efforts this past season and it was decent - better than I recall.

Main issue is the presence and influence he seems to lack at times. Like when we played away at Newcastle

I suspect he's probably more effective when he has space and can get in behind (as seen with his goals from pressing the defence and making runs into space), and whilst he may get into good positions in the area he struggles on the ball against a compact defence - much like PEA.

He won’t be number one but could be a very effective sub for last 20 minutes against tiring defenders.

Hate having a CF that is overly reliant on service, even if they finish well. By the end Laca was doing neither and it was an embarrassing state for a CF.

Yeah, this is an interesting development. It's something that I think has been missing whenever he had chances in the first team up until the end of last season, where something seemed to click. That's what impressed me more than the goals he scored to be honest.

How good did he look when he came on? Making great runs and never seen him this quick and strong. Did everything apart from score yesterday. Think he gave Fulham all kind of problems when he came on. Did similar at palace as well which led to our second goal.

Also talks about the change to our shape with Eddie & playing 3142.
Read in another article elsewhere Saka saying he felt the introduction of Eddie and the change to the 3142 shape played a big part in the come back to score 2 goals and win the game.

Eddies found another gear. He plays with an intensity now that was missing before. As he said all he needed was 6 games and I think when he got them not only did he convince Arteta but he convinced himself he was ready for this level. He's not the silkiest player around but he's really fast and not he's much stronger and more aggressive too. If he can keep the intensity up and make sure his finishing and off the ball movement keep improving he'll do really well for us.

Reckon his finishing will improve soon. He often seems to rush his finishing when he has more time than he realizes, just needs to use that split-second for what it's worth.

He’s electric. Probably won’t need his technique to improve all that much and he’ll still be very useful. He’s surprising me.

Eddie is a player who has really grown on me over time. Used to be really down on him, but I like the energy he gives us off the bench. I have also been impressed with his attitude. It comes through in AON, where he tells off Sambi for moaning about playing time. This is a guy who has been cast off by Chelsea and always been told he is not good enough, yet puts in the graft to always deliver and excel. We need fighters like him in the team.

I want whatever this guy is on! Becoming an absolute monster of an athlete.

I'm intrigued what he could do when he's given more than 20 minutes and we're not just defending a lead.
