He is absolutely rapid. Watched them a bit because of Szoboszlai (I hope we can land next year) and he is really talented.

Even in that friendly, he gave Van Dijk a right going over a couple of times, and it was one of the few times he seemed troubled.

Would give our rivals nightmares.

Daka seems to have good feet, and can link up well with others too.

If we're persisting with auba wide, we need a 9.5 that can bring him into play and also chip in with goals. Edouard fits the bill moreso than daka, who may have more upside but is similar to auba. We have to look at bringing in guys that are good in their own right but also have synergy with our biggest weapon auba

Edouard had a sensational season for Celtic, the only real question is he can he step up? Thats the sort of gamble we need to make though if we can do for a price like €25m.

Generally speaking I agree but we're looking to revamp our whole team by the looks of it. By adding guys like Ceballos, Aouar, Partey who are all quite pressing resistant or Tierney and Luiz who can release Auba or Pepe from 40+ yards we remove the necessity to have a target man CF to get the ball to stick up front

Clrnc named Eto'o on the last page which is a very good shout. Not the Barcelona version but the one who broke through at Mallorca, great composure, very nimble feet and good link up play and of course that absurd fuck off pace. He'd have to bulk up more than Eto'o did but he's young enough to make that transition

They sold Haaland for like £17m didn't they? Can't remember if he had a buyout clause though.

He's being rumoured at over £20m. Seems decent when you consider the prices that Osimhen and Werner went for. One caution is RB absolutely tonk most of their domestic opponents, so it's best to watch their Champions League games where you can.

Nevertheless, doesn't sound entirely unrealistic that we could sell Laca and buy one of Daka and Edouard without taking a loss. We might not be better off right away, but we'd have enough flexibility (with Auba also being able to play striker) that we could switch things around when they don't work.

We need a player for the 8 position more urgently than we need a CM/CF.

Don’t let a few cup final / one off competitions make us forget how bad we were against the average teams in the league (and how far off we are technically from the top teams).

I’m with Flobs. If we can it’s great but not a priority for me this window. I’d sign two centre mids before I’d go for a forward.

But if we don't buy a new striker we can't sell one either (unless you'd actually be fine with that, so that's irrelevant the way I see it.

Actually was thinking the other day, Xhaka is definitely here to start so if we buy both Aouar and Partey, who will miss out given Ceballos has rejoined? Probably make more sense to buy a striker if we are intent to play Auba on the left.
