Is Partey a remotely realistic target? Hard to argue that it's not a downgrade for him and I don't see why Atletico would go for it either, or am I missing some info?
Autumn tran!

You’re absolutely right, Goon. But never say never again.
If we achieved top 5/ Europa title, we could interest him. Atletico are in a tight battle for 4th and could fall to 6th if they don’t straighten out. So in the event they don’t win Europe and finish 5th or 6th, why not call? They’ve taken on some ridiculous commitments with their strikers and wingers. A big bid for Partey might be welcome
It's a viable target if we get UCL because by all accounts we were supposed to sign him until we miss out on UCL last year thanks to that idiot who threw away our Palace home match
I think the two big advantages we have is that 1) we're capable of paying Partey significantly more than Atletico are in wages, and 2) Atletico need money to fund other transfers in order to make the FFP. It's possible that if a bid comes in they'll look at their squad and think they have plenty of capable midfielders, and selling one could help them fund a big striker this summer.

Exclusive: @Arsenal is interested in @jonatah. The defender of @bayer04fussball and @DFB_Team has a release clause of 40 mio Euros @SPORTBILD
No Tah
Linked with Bryan Cristante
Cor dear he’d be a fine addition to our midfield

I like how he stays on his feet in the challenge for the ball, and that drag back when challenged facing goal is a nice change of direction to open space for him to then pick a pass with his head up.
Roma fans don’t seem to pleased with him mind

He looks interesting
Get a bit of the old Martinelli vibe off him
It should be a good opportunity to see him perform against a decent opposition tonight vs AS Roma.
He's typically out playing Davies (Bayern Munich) when they're together for the Canadian team.

Then i'm sold. Get him in
I haven't seen a minute of this kid but I want him now.
Klaus, Doucoure is excellent. He’s taken a step up this season. He’s been asked to take more advanced positions this season. He gets forward and scores, and is a wonderful B2B.
I was actually thinking this morning that it would be great to get two mid career players like him and vd Beek. Would be a great 1-2 punch at the top of midfield.
He is great, but surely you've seen him play Klaus.
Ohh, it's the Watford Doucoure (the pictures won't load in the twitter app for me for whatever reason). I thought it was some kid back in France since the quote tweet I got it from said "great talent", which is a slightly weird way to describe a 27 year old player.
Yeah, I like Watcoure.
Plays more advanced than Viera, but there's similarities in their ability to cover ground, arrive in the box for chances, use their body, etc.
He's an ace player, but certainly needs to be surrounded by more defensive minded players. Not too different than how Ramsey played in my opinion.

Imagine him and vd Beek. They are good all around offensive players. I like the Ramsey comparison for Doucoure. But they also put in a lot of work defensively as well. And then give them a defensive mid or DLP from one of our existing players. Our midfield becomes instantly more dynamic. If we did those two purchases, we would seal top 3 next year and have a good platform.

Good for him. Lets see if the club rewards his loyalty.

“I hope to stay in the club, I would like to retire here, but you never know what can happen. I want to stay here until the club doesn’t love me.”
Offer him enough money so he thinks the club don't love him any more?

Just big up the After Partey to ‘em
I would love us to get Jude Bellingham. Absolute talent
I think Edouard might be a player that many teams target this summer. Has been great for Celtic, 20 goals in 22 games in the SPL, 24 goals in 37 games so far.
Yes looks very good

Including us if we sell either/both PEA & Laca.
I want some power and athleticism in midfield brought in this summer.
And keep Aubameyang at all costs.
I think Eddie and Martinelli will allow us to cash in on Lacazette
Keep Auba.
Buy Richarlison for the left, or central when needed.
Dacoure for the midfield and we’d be well set
Not expecting a massive summer especially with the Euros. Hopefully can cash in on Lacazette, Xhaka, Kolasinac and at least one of our many CBs.
Really want a powerful midfielder like Partey or Doucore. Like Ricky, think Mings would be a great addition but seems unlikely. Would also take a punt on Antonio from West Ham as cover for our wide positions.
Or Traore
Traore is out of our price range now. Isn't he also a RW which puts him in direct competition with Pepe?
Like the Doucoure call. Ceballos is starting to grow on me. Want to see what happens next dozen games and how his Madrid future is resolved. He still has one or two things to iron out but you can see that he’s a level above guys like Willock and Guendouzi. A two-some like that would work.
We should take a punt on a cheap Giroud type striker and sell Laca. In Aubameyang, Nketiah, Martinelli and Pépé, we’d be covered for smaller more mobile forwards.
Would loan out Martinelli next season. If we need forward cover, would consider someone like Glenn Murray for a season while we look for Auba's long-term sucessor. Different type of forward, but a very clever given his lack of pace etc. Think he would have a lot to teach our young CFs while offering a different type of option.

I have no idea if this source is reliable at all.
Mr reliable Kike says we are interested in Partey but not for 50m. Reasonable to expect Partey to renew his contract without further interests but if he doesn't want to renew Atletico will offer him out
€50m sounds like a steal for him.
Shit, I'd consider him up to €80m, and just sell our entire midfield for him. Don't think we'd be any worse off.
