Flobaba, not sure how much you have watched Coutinho at Barcelona and Bayern, but if you like Mesut Ozil, then you will fall head over heels for Coutinho.
Both teams have struggled to fit Coutinho in. He typically prefers to play in a free role behind the striker but at Barca that is space typically occupied by Messi, so they've had to shift Coutinho wide.
At Bayern the bigger issue for consecutive managers has been output and workrate. He gets involved, has those games where he has a lot of touches in the zones you mention and links the play well, but he scores few goals and delivers few assists - both of which Bayern expect from advanced midfielders. And then he doesn't hustle on defense.
