I googled him, he's a Welsh footballer and was born in 1913. Can't imagine he'll be able for the 2 games a week.

Never heard of him, and I doubt many Norwegians have. The article says that he only had two sub appearances for his team last season, and they're playing Norway's equivalent of League Two.

They play 3 in midfield, they wouldn't have to give up on graft. Also I realise a lot of Arsenal will be surprised to hear this but you can be a creative player and work hard.

Its really not as simple as you make out. Good luck trying to change formations, swap key players, and lose nothing in the transition. I've seen that happen very rarely, and i think its underestimated how every piece of their current machine strengthens the piece next to it.

I think they have to take a risk though because they're vary reliant on the system working at the moment and that can collapse without any outside help too. If they want a prolonged period at the top they need to use this opportunity to add real quality to the midfield and forward line.

Looks like Inter wants to funnel the Icardi money to buy Sandro Tonali. Going to have an incredibly talented midfield if that happens.

Don't think Icardi is underrated. Was rumored to both Barcelona, Real Madrid and United and ended up going to PSG.

All that tells me is that there's a big discrepancy between how he's rated within the game and the way he's rated by observers of it. I still think he's well underrated by fans and pundits in general. You rarely see him mentioned among other top tier strikers but he's had an Aubameyang-esque development the last few years. I think he's one of the most intelligent footballers around; a tactically perfect player who can kill you with a single touch.

Ilicic is brilliant but I'd call him something more akin to a playmaker or a second striker. A real joy to watch. There used to be so many players like him but two decades of Makelele midfield clones have made them go extinct.

Don’t see it myself. He’s lacking any standout physical traits. Ofcourse he’s talented but for the type of striker he is he doesn’t compare well against someone like Harry Kane

The only issue with Icardi is his off the pitch antics. I'm not sure how good he'd be in a dressing room like ours. Its probably a risk I'd be willing to take though, assuming the manager was happy with it.
