We will need a wide player if we lose Saka. It's very worrying that he hasn't signed a contract. Would be a massive failure if we dont get him to stay.

Also, Lacazette responded(on twitter) to claims that hes has been in touch with Griezmann to obtain information about Atlético Madrid, saying "not beautiful at all". I think Laca, has one year left right? Like Auba, but still no rumours that we want to extend it, wonder what's going on there. The hole "players won't leave for free" speech from Raul would mean it's a big summer for him as well.

Think he has more than a year to run.

Even if we only sign Partey and ship guys like Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Sokratis and Lacazette to fund it we’ll have improved significantly.

Go that little bit further to get another centreback and we could consider it a top window

Willian is 32 this summer. He's after a 3 year deal and his game is about pace and agility. His final ball and decision making arent good enought to account for a future lack of pace. He'd be better off going to spain or Italy now.

Through years of poor squad recruitment and management we are in a pretty weak position. With all that seems to be happening in the financial side of football right now it looks like serious squad building is not going to be possible so we are in in for further decline as a team.

It's crazy to think what a mess we are in given we took the apparent stance to be prudent but squandered any advantage we had when we were near the top and totally messed up our attempts to get back there.

Obviously we couldn't foresee this latest issue but that pure bad fortune could really kick the legs out from under us of getting anywhere near the Europe's top teams for a good few years I think

Meanwhile, Leipzig have lowered Dayot Upamecano's asking price from €60m to €40m, which could be a problem for Bayern as it's possible he wouldn't be on the market anymore next year.

So in like a 3 week window, he signed with us, then with Bayern, then he extended his contract, and now he will be sold again.
