I don't want him. Streaky player and we are already wasting Pepe on the bench. We need a proper striker if Auba is going to continue out wide.

That is what worries me with Zaha, no doubt superb player. When he attacks down the left side the guy literally pins teams back, a quality very few possess. A couple years ago I'd be all for him but with the options we have up top already it doesn't make sense imo.

We need a CF, someone who has good hold up play + link play, can get in behind and score goals.

Depends on how we line up. Right now our biggest problem is that we're not able to get the ball in between the lines (area between back line and midfield). There are plenty of ways of doing this. We could have our striker drop down, we could have central midfielders push up, or we can have wingers drift in, or ideally a mix of it all (like Liverpool). But each solution requires a "holistic" plan. If we for example play with more inwards drifting wingers (like Willian), then our full backs have to push further up the pitch. Bellerin is far too cautious.

Pepe would usually be hard to get rid off, but if we wanted to, but we could do it this summer, as we could take a big bath on his write down given that Uefa has relaxed financial FairPlay. By next year, he’d still have £45m pounds of value left, which is probably what we would be able to get in the free market unless he really steps up. But I’m still not sold that you gain that much from selling Pépé and taking a hit just to replace him with Zaha who is just as streaky and less productive

I mean, I know he is not a big name but still, we are always so slow to announce new signings. It's very strange.

The guy might be in the squad on wednesday and yet no word from Arsenal, and the rumour on twitter was that he was at London Colney on thursday and started training with the team on friday. Remember it was the same with Cazorla, by the time we announced him he already had a full week of training with the first team.

Rumours on twitter that Arsenal & Chelsea are exploring a swap deal possibility.

😆 Who is the oldest guy in the Chelsea squad? Willy to come over to enjoy his old age?

But more names like CHO and Kovacic are floating around.

I would be pretty dejected if Guendouzi went to a domestic rival. I'm also not sure I can stomach more former Chelsea players in this team.

CHO didn't start ahead of Willian at Chelsea and he wouldn't start ahead of him for us either. Nor would he be ahead of Pepe or Saka.
