Some Tiago Salazar guy says that "Arsenal will sign Pablo Mari on a loan. Fee to have player till July 2020 of €4m. Add ons of up to €2m if certain criteria are reached. And then an option to buy of another €4m. Total cost of operation potentially up to €10m".

😆 This is the kind of muppetery that's been missing from our transfer windows the last couple of years. Jeinny, that random guy who said on Twitter that he saw on television that we were signing Vidal and everyone just believed it. This is how it's supposed to be.

Says pretty much everywhere I see that his contract expires in December 2022.

We need a big cb option obviously hes not perfect he'd be x10 the price if he was. Even if hes not a starter all the time if were playing deep like against chelsea he'll probably look great.

Was reading a description of him as being a 'late bloomer' however I don't see it as perhaps being that 'bad', as he's 26 and just had a break out season with Flamengo and named in the Brasileirao Team of the Year, and played a lead role in their defence in winning the Copa and League Double. He may not be pretty but he would seem to be effective in a league with plenty of players with flair on the ball, and didn't get embarrassed when up against LFC in the Super Cup Final.
