I would be fine with Arteta staying but he’s stopping young talent developing like Saliba, Douzi, Nelson etc. Favre would be great.

I hear you. Fucking sick of Xhaka and Willian getting matches, however not the only manager to be guilty of this (picking Xhaka at least).

That being said, at this stage of the season, part of me thinks that throwing the youngsters into the fray would not only undermine his approach this season but also could scar them with the experience.

Agree with this. We've blamed Wenger, Freddie, and Emery for performances that are clearly down to houseboat players self-destructing. Emery made his stay untenable due to his inability to communicate, and I would have liked to see Freddie given more time.

The strongest argument for sacking Arteta is that he should have played the Europa-team today, though. We do have a team that has shown they can play (albeit against poor opposition). We should have played them instead of the Xhaka-Willian combo who keep fucking us over.

I'd be happy to agree with rc8 and dons approach if I didn't know that arteta is a stubborn idiot who is going to stick with the shit we've seen. If the youngsters can't handle playing now, they're not cut for it anyway. It's part of their learning experience instead of loaning them to some third tier club. We're already that club for the rest of the season, that much is clear

It's more about what goon said last week - if we've hired a young, inexperienced manager, you need to accept there will be tough patches. But that doesn't mean they don't have ability.

Given all the structural changes in the club over the last couple of years, we need some continuity to actual build something that doesn't resemble the Frankenstein's monster of a club we see now.

We have had excellent performances against top sides even with a shit squad.

It is far from inconceivable that he might build a team that works eventually.

But who's going to coach this bunch of fuckwads instead? Are Pochettino or Allegri going to walk into this shower of shit and take the inevitable hit to their reputation? These guys can kill a career. Arteta's may never even leave the ground, should've gone to Newcastle. Arsenal is a no-win club, you can only lose. Even if you do, on the off chance, win, the players, the fans, and the owners will beat you back down. The culture is pure poison.

@Don - Rough patches is one thing, him driving us into the ground is another. If he wants the support of the fans he needs to stop making brain dead decisions like alienating half the squad and playing his favourites, not to mention the turd playing style he's imposing these days.
