Agree with this. We've blamed Wenger, Freddie, and Emery for performances that are clearly down to houseboat players self-destructing. Emery made his stay untenable due to his inability to communicate, and I would have liked to see Freddie given more time.Β
The strongest argument for sacking Arteta is that he should have played the Europa-team today, though. We do have a team that has shown they can play (albeit against poor opposition). We should have played them instead of the Xhaka-Willian combo who keep fucking us over.
