I’m not so concerned about that. My gripe with the Kroenkes is their relative underperformance. When they arrived at Arsenal, we were generally a top 6 team globally on both financial and sporting metrics. Now we are down around 12th, and sliding further down on the sporting front with our consecutive midtable finishes. They are overseeing a damning collapse.

They just need to operate at parity with what they have. We should always be competing for a top 4 place with ease. And once in a while being good enough to challenge for the title. And none of that requires an artificial infusion from an oligarch or white washing emirate. I just want people to do the bare minimum.

That's it Claud. They've done nothing good since they arrived. They took a CL side who never ran at a loss and turned us into a midtable side that's running at a loss. And all because they didn't care as they were waiting for this super league. Well that's gone, now what?

They've done exactly what they promised. Break even while other clubs get more and more outside investment. Fans were so angry they just invited them in.

Emery maintained some stability. It's gone wrong with arteta. But I don't think you get to change owners everytime you've a couple of bad seasons.

Our form has been top 4 since Christmas. Arteta has done enough to get himself fired and he knows that. Some players sold him down the river. But that's management. I don't think fans can demand he leaves due to poor pre Christmas form.(EDIT kronke not arteta)

Why is Christmas the magic arbitrary date things only get counted from? Why not literally any other time where he wouldn't be in the top 4? You've found this little anomaly to make an incredibly weak argument for keeping Arteta.

Anyway thats completely OT, we are talking about the Kroenkes who as I say haven't had us break even, they've managed to take a club everyone admired for their ability to keep breaking even or better and started making losses, and thats before this season with no crowds. They bought in when we were an established CL club and have mismanaged us down to midtable irrelevance.

They've done nothing positive in their time here and then they go and try put is into the fucking ESL. How can anyone be so annoyed that people want the Kroenkes gone.

Any owner that comes in would have voted for the ESL anyway. So for me it doesn't make sense to change for that reason.

Whilst on the surface, that looks of interest, I have a few questions:

Do we think Kroenke is going to sell? Probably not anytime soon - I'm sceptical that a few protests will bother them too much.

Would it ex players get involved in a takeover bid? Surely they would create a conflict of interest if any of them worked at a club that we met in a competitive fixture?

Anyone have much insight into Daniel Ek's approach as an investor?

How would this work anyway since most of his fortune is in Spotify stocks? Wouldn't he have to sell stocks to the point where he's no longer the top shareholder of Spotify?

Yup, it's not like Stan used cash either. The benefit with someone like Ek is that you'd like to think being an Arsenal fan he wouldn't load the debt onto the club itself.

I know people say KSE will never sell, but this ESL debacle is an escalation. you now have legends like Henry and Wright publicly saying gtfo. at some point even they might realising that ball of shit they've trying to push uphill is only getting bigger, and with the ESL being so ferociously rejected, might feel they've hit a peak in how much money they can make off arsenal

I don't think they'll care about the pressure. What I think may get them to sell is the threat to the ownership model.

Agreed - after all, if you are not even in London, easy for the pressure not to get to you. The protests probably don't even register across the pond and it's not like Stan watches our games anyway.

One more point of note, KSE have never ever sold any of their franchises away. If this is to succeed it will take some doing.
