No doubt. It always amazes me how highly people still think of David Dein in general. He picked up his Arsenal shares dirt cheap (£292,000 for 16.6 % of the club!), engineered Premier League and the kind of environment that brought in big investors who assumed ownership of English clubs, and then he went to both Kroenke and Usmanov and tried to convince them to launch a takeover here. Eventually he ended up selling his stock for £75 million.
The only other business where you stand to make a profit like that is conflict minerals, or the heroin trade.
