We would never make it out of the hurly-burly of the Championship. We would lose the physical fight every weekend.
We fucking don’t get fucking relegated
Premier League is much more physical. I don't know why the Championship has that rumour about it, but it's pretty clean football. You never see the kind of horror challenges that Creswell was doling out yesterday. Games are moving at a snail's pace, I think that's why.
our last 10 league matches
L, D, D, L, D, D, L, W, L, D
goals scored: 11
goals conceded: 16
just absolutely brutal
Newcastle above us.
I just realised we are bottom half of the table going into xmas. My goodness.
None of this surprises me. What surprises me is that, for the time being, we’re just 5 points off 4th.

We are the English A.C. Milan.

only 9 more home games left. 3 of them are leicester, liverpool and man united. good luck in those. who are we beating away from home?
we're well and truly in a relegation battle.
We are not in a relegation battle. We don’t play like a relegation team. We just had a really tough battle against the fourth placed team, losing by a solitary goal and being cheated. Once we are past United we will add some points and move up to around 8th-10th. We won’t be relegated. But we will struggle to get up to 6th.
Lose two more match and we are in a relegation battle.
But lets get real. I know many believe top 4 is still on but historically it's impossible now. Let's rebuild for the next season. We are finishing 7th or 8th. You laugh at United and Spurs but they are 7 points ahead of us now. Southampton who lost 9-0 is just 2 points behind us. That's how bad it is.
Oh, if we played double the league matches say 40 matches we will still be 4 points off Liverpool. Utterly fucking inept club.
We cannot create real chances against anybody. Ergo, relegation battle looms.
If we keep picking up knocks at the current rate I'll legitimately start panicking

I want to believe you, I really do, but 1 win in 13(?) is relegation form, and it's not like the majority of those matches were against the Top 4 either.
We have a transfer window at our disposal and we need to use it, simple as that. Raul and Edu will have to work for their wages this January, and if they can't find any good solutions they don't deserve to be employed by a club of this size.
Edit: And we don't need new players on January 31st who then take a month to bring into the side. We need them ready to hit the ground the first day of the new year.
Imagine Ozil playing in the Championship next season. Probably earns more than some XIs he'd face.

We dropped off second half today, but we have played so much better since Arteta came around. I’m not panicking yet. Just pissed off that we didn’t do this in November like a normal team. The owners of this club deserve relegation like the Venkys. Just at another club

would be hilarious to see, but i don't want it to happen ... unless by some miracle we won the europa and are playing in the champions league as well.

Agreed. What was it Raul said? "When Arsenal get its dick out it swings harder and faster than other clubs' dicks." Well, now's the time to unzip and show us all.

I imagine all these contracts would be voided if we were relegated. No more Ozil or Mustafi
