that little line at the bottom of that pic is important.

it's hard to take stats for Arsenal stretched over 3 years as being hugely revealing to the current squad given the state of flux we been in.

Citeh's control over the end of halves is insane.

It would be interesting to see what we look like under Arteta, but even then we have 2 periods = before and after the switch to the 343.

Who do we leave out?
There are 17 places for non-homegrown players in the squad, we have 19 of them. So 2 will be left out and won't be eligible to play in the PL at all. My bet is on Sokratis as we have 8 player better then him in that position(why did we not let him walk to PSG?) and maybe Ozil?

Sokratis will definitely be one of them. Might as well do a short term loan to the Championship for him.

I would guess Sokratis and Mari because Mari is injured until Jan

Insane why we rejected PSG offer to take Sokratis if true

I thought Mari was back after international break?

In theory if we cancelled his contract couldn’t he still sign for others?

Yes, in 2 weeks he will back in full training. Then he needs to get up to speed.

Really makes signing Cedric look even more bone headed.

If we can infer Arteta's decision based on playing time, then it'll be Sokratis and Ozil...

We can see which guys are the one with absolutely no motivation to play football and didn't want to leave just to collect easy money.

Ozil, Mustafi, Sokratis ..

Did we even try to sell Mustafi? There was no noise around him at all.

It should be easy. But because one of them is Ozil it isn't.

Exactly. I mean he's refused moves before but I doubt this time much has happened surrounding him. Plus he'd been injured the whole time. Also not sure what happened with Sok's move. Did he price himself out?

On the other hand Kola should have definitely left however now that he's staying I reckon Arteta will pick him as he usually has a way of finding a way of getting him into the squad. Although he's one of the first players I'd get rid of, even ahead of Mustafi. For me he's only behind Ozil in my get out the club list.

Arteta seems to like Mutafi, I'd say he's happy to have him as back up for another while. TBF he was better recently under Mikel.

Would love to see this

Have seen comments that PSG wanted us to release him as we did for Mkhi so they could sign him for free.
Still seems weird that we did not do so, although apparently there are still a couple of European transfer windows that are still open including Portugal and Russia/Ukrainne, as well as the domestic window.

Was reading something lately that said at the time Cedric was signed on loan and then made permanent that neither AMN nor Bellerin had committed to the cause.

IIRC free agents can be signed and registered by clubs at any time during the season, which makes the MU scramble to sign Cavani seem more desperate.
In theory if we canned the contracts for Sokratis or Ozil they can sign and be registered with a UCL club if they have room on their 25 man squads.

I'm pretty interested in seeing:

at some point.
