Maybe so, but it's still mind boggling to say that Gnabry's touch is easily the best in the team when this team includes Mesut Ozil. Who, as far as I'm concerned, could give van Persie a run for his money himself.

That said, I think Klaus is being unusually harsh. Gnabry's the third youngest player to ever play for Arsenal and chalked up 14 appearances and was decent enough in most of them. That in itself requires a combination of talent and mentality for a player that young. But yeah, I don't think I ever saw him as a massive talent either - closer to Fran Merida than Fabregas.

The club and Wenger both thought highly enough of Gnabry's talent to give him game time very early. If not for his injuries he would probably be here or would have commanded way more money for his dream move to Bayern.

Not aimed at you in anyway Clarence, but I do think there is a bit of a problem generally with people constantly overrating players, usually young players, from other teams without actually watching them play very much at all. Usually it's the players with good stats or the ones that make the highlight reels, but when you watch them play a bit you see there's a lot they're lacking and if they played here and their every move were watched then they'd be viewed very, very differently.

Ricky really hates Gnabry for some reason. Totally do not rate him and wanted to shove him as a wingback ffs. Mirth did back me though I will give him that.

Seems even Bayern fans today admit it may have been a shady deal to save money by loaning the money to Werder to buy him. Werder only sold him later for only 8m euros to Bayern. They got no shame since their tapping up works a lot... Lewandowski, Neuer, Gotze, Goretzka, Sane, Nubel, etc...

Happy for Lopetegui. A year ago he got sacked hours before the WC from his national team and then four months later again from the biggest job in football. Redemption at last, and to be fair to him this Sevilla side looks far better organised than any of his past teams

All the best teams are in contention for the FA Cup, which is more than you can say about Europa League. We haven't won the Championship either, and I don't particularly want us to get into a situation where that becomes our goal.

Sevilla literally beat teams who are champions league standard. Just look at all their Europa League wins and the teams they had to beat, most of the times over 2 legs to win.

It's harder than the FA Cup IMO.

True, Clrnc. The final last night was good. They beat the 2nd best team in Italy last night in a really good game. I’d have killed for that Europa League trophy this season. United were heartbroken. You should’ve seen Scholes, Ince and Hargreaves in studio talking about the need to get new strikers. That Europa League loss stung. I don’t understand folks who say the Europa League is a 2nd rate cup. Especially when their team is 8th in the league and getting bounced by Olympiakos from said cup

Fa cup is harder imo as you have City and Liverpool who are in the top 3 best teams in Europe (or were at least so a couple of months ago). The ceiling of ‘toughness’ is harder.
