Coaching masterclass? 😆 okay.
It was an avenger's infinity wars one shot in the dark chance of winning sort of game.
Anyway, I hope we are much more creative and attractive to watch next year is all i'm saying.

Precisely! Fine margins. Between a coaching masterclass and a dud.
I am fine even if Arteta's long term team plays like peak George Graham as long as we are winning trophies.
🙂
I would hope you're in the minority with that sentiment.
Winning covers a multitude of sins that's for sure.
Even though I rooted for Emery I absolutely hated his football too.
What was that Klaus was calling it? Merryball?

Those fine margins matter though. Look at Simeone, Atletico look like they get ‘lucky’ in almost every big game yet they win a lot of them. If you execute your plan well enough only a couple of those 25 shots are more than half decent chances and you’ll probably create as many high quality chances on the break.

It does sound like something I'd say!

Oh I'm not disagreeing. It's just not a spectacle I think I would want to see long term for us.

But Arteta has been transparent that he is being pragmatic given the circumstances and resources. I would be surprised if he stuck to long term. It’s also not a way to deploy the team against 80% of the league. We just need to dominate those teams with superior resources. And that’s why it’s important to try to upgrade as best we can this summer.
Hey Klaus' favorite player Coutinho on to shore up his transfer list price
Almost finds the top corner
Ha ha. 3-1 Bayern. 6-1 on aggregate!
Yeah, hopefully there’s a bit more emphasis on chance creation next year.
Speak of the devil: Coutinho part of the build-up for the goal. Smart pass to lewandowski who sends in the cross for the easy tap in.
Lampard looks lost. I hope they keep him all next season. Arteta will finish above him
That’s a potential manager of the season you’re talking about there Claud.
Hahahahaha Chelsea are the new us. I think the curse is lifted. 😆

It would be a travesty if he wins it ahead of guys like Chris Wilder or Ralph Hassenhuttl.
4-1 now. Lewandowki with a header.
4-1 Lolers
I hope when we finally get back into the CL we are ready for that level. I don’t want to go back to this sort of humiliation.

What's even more amazing is that Bayern could have had at least 3 more if it weren't for Zouma tonight. Zouma!

This is why I’m not worried about finishing 4th. These guys finished 3rd with this shit. And every season we hear that the teams will improve and they don’t. The worry is that we will chase 4th given how close it is, and not 1st. And that will be a failure to learn from our past mistakes
Maybe Chelsea should spend that 100 million (for Havertz) to buy a couple of decent defenders and a new goalkeeper.
