Handball. 4-4. This is some Days of Our Lives shit.

Hakimi with a second goal. He's genuinely the best attacker on the pitch, four goals in four CL matches from full back ffs

Conte's Inter fell apart too. Sancho and Hakimi outstanding

I'm watching Inter throw it away against Dortmind, but exactly! Of course Ajax will lose, they have 9 men! And they're terrible defensively with 11.

Get rid of this VAR shit until we can get AI to do it. Handing it another human in the back is just more chaos.

Would you take Ten Hag’s defending with his attacking over whatever it is Emery is doing now?

Lol Ajax attacking Chelsea with 9 man. Kepa with a brilliant save

Did you see how many men they had up for the corner? Even the last counter had 6 men joining. 😆

Poor Ajax always getting fucked by refs.

Azpilicueta goal shouldn't have stood (always this dickhead in these situations too! should've been sent off twice vs Frankfurt last season)
Blind was fouled before his foul on Abraham i.e. neither red card for Ajax nor pen should've been given

Criminal from this ref

How is Ajax still committing so many men forward in search of winner? 😆

Complete nuts team. Chelsea playing on the counter against the 9 men

If the choice was between only those two, then yes. But I'd take a lot of others over Ten Hag and Emery.

It's also worth noting the fact that Overmars and van der Sar said publicly that they had to tell Ten Hag to start playing "Ajax" football after a few months of his time there because he was playing in a way that wasn't in keeping with their values. So at least some of their style is down to that approach running down to their academy.

Philosophically, Ajax are the opposite of us. They’ll die with their boots on. They believe in all out, full blooded attack. It’s risky. But exciting

They are crazy. Its great fun watching as a neutral that they commit so many people forward and leave 2 defenders behind but if that is my team I will be going mad at them

Abysmal officiating. Fucking sort it out football.

Thoroughly entertaining game. Ajax should lodge a complaint even if it will be thrown out. From 4-1, conceded an offside goal and a dodgy penalty. And only then do they concede another to make 4-4. They should’ve won this game around 4-1.

Hakimi with a backheel tackle on Martinez in the middle of the pitch at 90 minutes. No idea how anyone thought this kid should play full back

MOTM, a day after his 21st birthday against this Inter side. Ridiculous talent

Why was an offside goal not disallowed by VAR?

Remember that Promes "offside" goal in Amsterdam against Chelsea, and now the ref fucks them over with four massive decisions in five minutes (offside goal, red, red, penalty) 😆

Good thing Ajax fans weren't allowed in the stadium because they would've burned West London down and rightly so

Because it’s humans sucking their thumbs. It’s basically a second look by another referee. Inconsistent application. They should have the Hawkeye style tech going through all the frames and deciding. I’m angry for Ajax.

First red was okay. Three big decisions. But yeah. Turns a 4-1 or similar result into a draw. And makes Chelsea look like a resilient team. Suddenly they’re joint top of the table instead of worrying about teams behind them
