A "must-win" in the truest sense, simply because of the opponent. We have historically had a good home record against Sp*rs so hopefully can do them once more. They are clearly struggling in the full-back areas, so (assuming no injuries) I'd expect us to go back to 3 upfront. Key questions are:

1) Does Laca start given we are playing at home?
2) Who should be the MF duo - is Xhaka an automatic starter? Does Ceballos play in MF or as the #10?
3) Who will be preferred between Chambers and Luiz?

I'd go for the below:

Hoping Eriksen doesn't play or start because Spurs look much less effective without him and Pochettino's spat with him is massively undermining them by not starting him.

I think our midfield is going to be Xhaka+Willock+1. The question is if Ceballos will start another big game right after that performance against Liverpool. Another cold shower like that might break his spirit.

In straight head to heads right now it appears that Guendouzi is losing out to Xhaka and Torreira is losing out to Willock, but one of them will probably start in Ceballos stead. Unless maybe Özil is an option again.

I don't think Ozil is in Emerys first XI any more and even if he was he's definitely not important enough to be thrown in after missing the first 3 games.

Not sure on Ceballos. On the one hand Spurs are in theory at least the 2nd best pressing team in the league. On the other hand they left just the kind of gaps Cellabos could exploit against Newcastle.

On their showings so far this season I think Ceballos and Willock should be competing for the 3rd spot in midfield with 2 from Douzi, Torreira and Xhaka. They're both a bit less consistent in their passing but both also provide a bit of something different going forward.

True, he has been good. I thought Guendouzi was the better in the first games while Willock was better against Liverpool, but the most important thing for me is that I think Torreira should play instead of one of them. Willock probably shouldn't start every game anyway.
