We're top heavy. Letting Iwobi go isn't gonna kill our season, not signing a CB will. If you are offered serious money for Iwobi and you are short on funds for Upamecano, no brainer to take the money surely?

That would be a no brainer but if Everton's 70m + McCarthy & Tosun gets rejected, I doubt they will sell for anything lesser. That is a pretty good deal for Palace and they still rejected it.

He's not good enough out wide for me. Doesn't score enough, assist enough and isn't pacy enough. He looks more of a central player as he has stated himself, and we have got better options there.

Kolašinac ended up being our most threatening left sided wide player last season. Says it all for me. I have never been convinced by Iwobi although I appreciate that some see his merits.

The potential of signing Zaha is the only appeal about this rumour and/or if we need the money from an Iwobi sale to help us seal the Upamecano deal. It doesn't sound like Crystal Palace are willing to sell at all though.

Hell yes to Zaha but please Raul... no Coutinho. Really don't want him.

Yeah but if you time it right and invest right you can save some cash and stay up too. Not an easy decision though.

Wobes is gone by the sounds of it, not being dismissed out of hand. Hopefully this is to fund the French lad and Tierney. Huge season for Nelson if so.

Why would it be a 20-30m loss. He has 4 more years on his contract.

Incorrect.

The Kolasinac and Iwobi partnership was what made our left side dangerous. Kolasinac with any other player in front of him didn't have the same impact.

He was literally our biggest attacking threat whenever Emery used the 3ATB system. Kolašinac was a force last season going forward despite his average end product.
