I remember thinking that exactly when he was at PSG. I couldn't work out why Emery kept playing him. He was just as bland as can be, nothing about his game stood out. I did see one game with him playing right wing at Copa last month and he was half decent there. Nothing to write home about, but he did a few good things and looked a bit quicker than when he was at PSG; not hard because he looked slow as molasses there.
If they're signing Lo Celso regardless of whether Eriksen leaves, then it's not a bad signing, but if he's the Dane's replacement, it's a downgrade, for sure.
I'm hoping the Dybala rumours are just them thinking why not give it a try before they've sealed Lo Celso because Dybala is a 3 levels up from him. I can't see room for both.
