if arsenal rate ESR at 25m and that reduces dayot's fee to 45m then we should be all over that. dayot is now, ESR could very likely end up like all the other arsenal hot prospects. at least we would get something in return for him. the only way we're hurt by that is if dayot is a flop and ESR turns into a top player in germany like sancho or something.

Depends though. If they are playing 3 at the back, they could use all of them. And their key defenders lost a lot of games to injury last season as well, so they’ll be wary. I’m hoping you’re right though.
If they want big money for Upamecano (£60m or £70m level of big), it's sell this summer or get him to sign a new contract. No club anywhere is giving them that kind of money with a year left.
