Defender wise I would agree with your last statement there. They overpaid for him but nobody cares because they have unlimited amount to splash and the quality is all that matters, not value for money.
To be honest at Hull some here already wishlisted Maguire and Robertson after they played against us under Marco Silva, although most people laughed at that wishlist. Those were the times it was obvious enough to gamble on them.
I fear Soyuncu will be one of those that we will regret missing out. So intelligent in his defending and great passing out from the back.
