The season should be cancelled, in my opinion. Perhaps if they could have resumed on 30th April, as they planned, then the final matches could have been played, but 1)that was not even a remote possibility, and 2) the 92 PL football matches left to play makes all plans to finish very unlikely to happen
This comes down to money and nothing else, in my opinion; otherwise there would have been an announcement long ago stating that 2020/21 season will kick-off when it is 100% safe to do so. The clubs don't want or can not pay back/roll over the tv money, so, I get it, but when football finally returns, the disruption will have run so far that trying to fit in the 9 rounds+ of matches and then get a new season going will be absolutely impossible.
