It's completely unworkable and to suggest that the main difference between Arsenal and Liverpool and Arteta and Klopp is as simple as getting the best out from the best players is disingenuous, in my opinion. You cannot build a team with Torreira, Ceballos, Xhaka and Guendouzi as the only options in midfield. It's impossible: they're horribly flawed players that will not give any team in any style the foundation it needs. And that's without mentioning the other muppets we have spread around them.

I just hope this summer we get the major clear out we have needed for god knows how many windows now.

You hadn’t seen him before? He’s a player we should’ve gotten before. In retrospect getting him and using Nelson at wing would’ve been a better use of our money. He’s been killing it in Portugal last two seasons. If United get their shit together, he will put up Lampard numbers

I'm not saying he's not a good player, but he's also not that good. He's shown basically nothing in this half against probably the easiest midfield to play against in the league, especially from a physical standpoint. He was also very average against us in the Europa League and I watched him closely. I very much doubt you and others comparing him with Lampard are going on much, if any, more than what I am. And that means it's his numbers that people are judging from. I couldn't really care less if he scored 50 goals in Portugal, let's see what he does to make him special over a decent amount of time in this league.

Never watched him closely before. First time I even heard of him was when we are linked with him and people keep raving over his numbers.

City have been really poor for a good portion of the season and looked vulnerable. The reality for us is can we take the game to them and win. It's also probably true that teams see us as an easier touch so fancy the result a bit more.

The rules are different to Europe mate, they can put the flags up, as long as the ref does not blow the whistle the players should play on. MD didn't blow the whistle so if it was onside it would have counted.

This is why City are a disgrace, even with this B team they play properly for 5 minutes and start pissing all over them. This team needs a reboot.

City have been off it all season that much has been clear. It's on the teams they play to take advantage of that. If we get beat we only have ourselves to blame. We were so pathetic against them at home before that they weren't really doing much but comfortably beat us.
