Same as always, some players are tired, some have been injured, some shit beyond their control has happened but eventually you'll just come to the conclusion that the team isn't good enough.

I wouldn't be gutted. Genuinely I wouldn't. Although, it will obviously never happen. Not a chance in hell.

Still don't get the Suarez love, sure he's a good player, but nothing all that special. I had hoped Arsenal fans seeing him up close for 90 minutes in our game against Liverpool last week would have killed the hype a little, but it would seem not (because lots still go on about him). I think £25M could be much better spent than on him.

Think we have Suarez level players already, we need to be looking at those ones that are a step better.

I also think Suarez did ok against us, considering the complete lack of service you get playing for Liverpool. He's made to play at Arsenal.

And I'd be gutted to see Nasri go to United. He's definitely choked in the second half, but the guy is still very young and has shown, for a good stretch this season, how good and how influential he can be. Our defensive setup is a joke, but that's because our coach is clueless.

I know English isn't your first language so maybe you are confused but I didn't say we should sell van Persie.

His fitness however is a massive problem and needs to be dealt with.

I'm just wondering why you would want to keep Nasri ahead of him, considering RvP is the best player at the club and shits all over Nasri.

Because Robins rarely fit. We need him all year, not for half a season. And he certainly doesn't shit all over Nasri, who has been our best player of the season.

Indeed. We also need to use them differently though. Why is that when our best players came back into the side regularly we fell apart? That should have been more than enough for us to push on and get better, instead we got worse. And I'm not blaming the players either, I think they're not being used in a way that best helps the team.

That's easier said than done though. Who could we realistically get, on a budget of 40m odd (which lets face it, is unrealistically high), who's a level better?

Neymar maybe? Alexis Sanchez? Could we get Pato?

It's obviously a small group and they'd all cost a bomb. Maybe we'd be better off going for effective, reliable players with good attitudes; Cahill, Parker and Ashley Young for a summer's work?

Hazard and Neymar are available for around £20-30M. Still young and therefore a gamble, but filled with quality, more than Suarez, for sure.

lol no he hasnt. Van Persie has had a better season in every single possible way.

Nasri is a spineless coward of a player. I wouldnt be surprised if he jumped ships in the summer. According to l'equipe he will leave if he isnt guaranteed a starting spot through the middle.

Juan Mata is a lovely player. More of a forward than David Silva, but when they were both at Valencia I always rated Mata as the greater talent. Could be available for £20m or so.
