i know we'll be 4 points back after tomorrow, but that's not even close to being good news, because the bottling will occur after we beat united at home and are 1 back. that will cause some people to become mentally imbalanced and i'm afraid i might be one of them. all they had to was win tonight and the season plays out stress free for me.

Not even including the really poor performances; Tottenham at home, Newcastle away and Liverpool just gone are glaring moments that defined our fate.

As much as we go on about United's supposed mental toughness, how many times have they missed the chance to completely pull away? Out of the FA Cup too with a really tame performance.

United's draws away at Fulham and Everton earlier in the season certainly was not the stuff of champions. There was nother 2 goal lead surrendered as well, at home I think, but I can't remember it.

Then again, they've nicked untold points this season in games they didn't deserve to win or draw. Have we even won a game this season, or nicked a draw, where we didn't thoroughly deserve it? I can't remember one. Maybe Liverpool away in the first game of the season?

I thought Utd played well today. At least they had the urgency, passion and drive that we always seem to lack. Unlike our recent displays, they actually created quite a few chances, and looked dangerous going forward.

I'm a bit miffed that they didn't have a penalty awarded against them for Anderson's trip on Lovenkrands.

I'm really worried about arsene's health. Looks so drained. Would hate to see anything happen to him. It's best for all concerned that he calls it a day or atleast moves upstairs.

It's not fun watching us play at the mo, but it's as equally horrible seeing such a proud man act like he is.

The longer he stays the deeper the hole gets. Hes done far too much damage to repair now. The title was on a plate this season. He has never had a better chance in his management years of winning the league than he has now.

Next season Chelsea and City will spend another 100 million. Man Utd will build on their success and we'll be left behind.

Its time for a change.

What are the arguments for Arsene staying any more? When was the last time he found a super talent like Cesc, Anelka, Henry, Vieira, etc? How many of his recent attempts have fallen flat? How many have left?

I just don't see enough upside with Wenger any more. His flaws are starting to out weigh his strengths.

I don't want to see the back of Arsene, i really don't, but we certainly need a new approach, and that isn't going to come from him unfortunately. We're still waiting for that summer where he decides to buck the trend.

Problem is...i really cannot see any viable replacements.

Even if he does get the right players we'll ALWAYS be bottle jobs under Wenger. Wev'e been bottle jobs as far back as 1999. He cant instill a winning mentality into the team

I'd fucking love it if Arsene just turned around in the summer and sorted this shit out, nothing would make me happier. TBH I'd still be annoyed if he was outright fired instead of stepping down, I still love and respect the man hugely but it just seems like he has nothing left to offer us and I'd rather see him go now than drag this out any longer, its starting to damage his legacy.

i'm starting to resent him and he's been cutting a rather pathetic figure with his whinging and excuse-making. if i were dalglish, i would've told him to piss off, too.

it's not how i want to remember him.
