count me in on the wenger out movement. have absolutely no faith in him anymore.
defensive problems, lack of spending, lack of mental strength etc have all been mentioned so far and i agree with all of that. serious problems within the squad that wenger hasn't been able to sort out.
however, the reason i have had it with him, is that there is a disconnect between his ideas and what we see on the pitch. wenger says he wants quick pass and move football, but we aren't really improving in that area. this leads me to believe that for all his grand visions, he is not able to "operationalize" them. implement them and produce a team that actually plays the football he wants them to play. we lack intelligent and coordinated movement off the ball. the team isn't dynamic enough. too often too many players will stand and wait for the ball, instead of roaming intelligently out on the pitch. constantly helping the other players out by providing good passing outlets. what the fuck are they doing in training???
wenger has some good ideas and he is a shrewd businessman (sort of), but for me there are many, many coaches out there who'd do a better job. not only in terms of winning trophies, but also in implementing attractive, good football.
